I just wanted to write a quick message to say thankyou for allowing For Life Experiences to use your field and waters to introduce people to the joys of fishing and other outdoor pursuits. On Thursday we had the final match of a project we have been running with the youth service, police and hants fire and rescue. It was a great day and the kids had a fantastic time. The press came down to cover the event so it should be in the paper this week. Many thanks once again from the FLE team and keep up the good work, the lakes are looking great and the place has a real buzz about it which is nice to see. The lake is looking great and Broadlands being picked as the host for the final is testimony to what a great lake it has become. Comment: hello, i was fishing with arron perry last weekend for 48 hours on peg 56 useing pop ups over pellet and hemp and had 4 carp to 13.8lbs and informed the guys at the hut and i dont seem to be put on your news letter,ill be poping back in a couple ov weeks for another 48 hour trip so see you all soon

Comment: hello pete.had another great 24 hours fishing and caught a few fish.what you are doing wih the lake and the effort you are putting in, i think it will end up one of the best day ticket waters in the south.keep up the good work.thats the good done now the bad.what are all them bait boats doing.all its doing is spoiling it for people who have not got one.i fish there all the time and catch 99% of the time i go.i have never used or needed to use a bait bait at a place like broadlands there is just no need.broadlands has always stopped bait boats there and i have always thought that is a good thing to do.in my eyes your lake is near perfect apart from the boats.keep up the good work you are doing and all the best.

Comment: wonderful lakes wonderful owners and staff 1st time ive fished it since the simmo days. one complaint BAN THE BAIT BOATS they aint needed at this venue. and ive got one. learn to cast !!!!!

Comment: Just a quick thanks, for me a good 48hr session in proper winter conditions been easily -4 in the early mornings and the lake still produced. forgot to sign book as was more worried to get feelin back in hands but had... 15lb mirror 10lb mirror 11lb mirror 16lb common might i add in perfect condition ......... Anyway here was the message i have been trying to send :) Hi Broadlands I have just found out about the charity match that you are organising for this weekend. I think it is a great idea and would like to show support for the people of Haiti. Can you please answer a few quick questions. Which charity does funds go to/ organisation and what percentage of entry fees. I would also like to donate some prizes for the raffle. Can you put down that we will donate 6 laser clay sessions for use this summer at our Sunday shoots. Do i need to post you a cheque or shall i pay on the day? Comment: Hi Pete and guys, I just wanted to write to say a big thank you to Pete for today, i'm a disabled angler who finds it hard to reach alot of pegs, my son is 8 and also loves to fish! i need to sit next to him to make sure he's safe and vice versa! Pete very kindly reserved the double swim on the lower lake so we could sit next to each other! this in turn made for a great days fishing, i had a good 60lb of fine carp and my son caught roach after roach all day long! Comment: i have just got back from a 48 hour session tues/wed and what a fantastic two days they were pulling out over 47 pound of carp and 26 pound for my buddy so we would just like to say thankyou to everyone at broadlands lake and we will look forward to our next visit. i would highly recommend this fishery to anyone who's looking for a great day out in a wonderful place and an amazing days fishing once again thank you all

Comment: Dear Pete and Debbie. Just wanted to say thanks for the hospitality over the british carp championship qualifiers. The lake was looking great and although the boiling temps made the fishing hard it was still a very enjoyable weekend...... the cream cakes on the opening night also went down very well! Thanks once again and i hope to be back at the finals to win the competition this year. Just got to get through the semis.
