I had 31 Bream (yes sad but I kept count) the largest just under 7.5 Lbs the rest averaged about 3 Lbs.add to that 6 decant Roach and a couple of bonus carp a total of about 100Lbs,not bad as I had to leave at 3!!    The fishery was immaculate the facilities spotless and the staff friendly.I have fished there before but not often something I will change from now on. Keep up the good work Keith Tucker PS it was peg   _________________________________________________________________________________ hi peter / kieren / wayne   just wanted to send quick email and piccy to let you know what a fab time me and father in law had there again and was worth the trip from london once more and even if we didnt catch would have still been great and you are all so realy friendly which makes it all a real dream to be there.   below is the piccys of the fish caught and my father in law 1st below is a 24lb 5 oz mirror carp caught on sweetcorn from peg 95 i think and what a prezzie for him as it was his birthday too! he was 76.   and mine was a 15lb 7oz mirror carp caught on t1 boilies from peg 94 ---------------------   please could you ad these details to your website for us again like last time ----------kind regards and cant wait to see you guys again very soon.   __________________________________________________________________________________________   Hi,       Both myself and Paul West have just completed (Thurs - Sat) 48 hours fishing within your complex, first of all we would both like to thankyou for accommodating us on your lake and couldnt fault the complex at all, the shop was well stocked and staff were polite and thoroughly enthusiastic about the lake and the fish. We had a good 48 hours and managed to catch 78lb 5oz between us. I caught a 12, 14 and 23lb 6 oz Mirror carp and Paul caught a 14.3 and 14.6 common and mirror. 4 of the 5 fish come on the spicy tuna and sweet chilli pop ups and the other coming from the spicy shrimp and prawn pop up. (all photo's attached) We believe that they maybe a netting happening throughout February and if you would like any help with this or anything else around the lake then we would more than happily come down to assist with anything. Including my new pb a 26.5lb mirror. Both Keith and my fish were caught on his bait,and using the exact same rig.The bait was the bait that keith made hiself and looks like mini tic-tacs, they were very bright in colour and perfectly weighted on the rig that we both used (total fishing rig /slow sinking pop-up).   Anyway thanks again Wayne

Unfortunately the weather held the fishing back along with the fish deciding to spawn but hey that's fishing for you. We did manage to raise £1'500 for the Samaritans which what the match was all about along with the social side. I do hope we were on our best behaviour for you & that you didn't get any complaints from anyone. I did have a walk around afterwards to check for litter which I'm pleased to say there was none (Please advise if this was not the case). ___________________________________________________________________________________________________  Its box i recently caught the 28lber from your lake and if it is still ok could i please name him or her BOX as i looked at the photos of her and could,nt really think of something , i will be down there fishing maybe on sunday or definately on the 29th feb  please let me know. that fish was a new pb and the lake is spot on it is run superbly well just wish i had the time to fish it more often see you soon box

hi Peter this is JT (ex-sparsholt student) from the lake netting. was good to meet you finallly since i always used to fish the lakes while i was college. all the very best with everything on the lakes; have already seen what a difference you, simmo and your colleagues have done with the fishery. have just had chance to sort out some of the fishy pics from the netting which i hope you receive fine. hope to be present for the bream hunt in a couple of weeks time also. thanks very much for the 24hr ticket. hope to fish very soon!

Hello, there.  I fish the lake from time to time and just wanted to let you know how great the place is.  Can't stop raving about the place and always trying to sort my weekends so I can get down there.  I was just wondering how to get involved in matches down there?  Primarily if you've got any carp pairs matches going on.

Firstly i would like to congratulate you all on what you have done to the lake you can now see the lake returning to its former beautifull and well maintained glorious state, a testiment to the hard work of you all.Secondly Pete i would like to thank you for allowing me to join your syndicate and will be counting down the days untill april comes around but will be sure to keep visiting the lake until that time.My friends visited you a couple of weeks ago and commented how well the lake was cared for and all agreed that this lake is surely set to be one of the best carp fisheries in the south and will be sure to visit again in the near future and they are from norfolk!!!!.I have inclosed the picture of the 21 7 grassie that i caught on th 8-9-2007 from peg 33 but you must of got the names mixed up, sorry for the delay in the arrival of the pictures but have had problems with my pc.

Hi Broadlands.   Thanks for a great day,   Its the first time the boys, (Jarvis and Jordan) have been fishing properly, and as we were only going for the small ones we did not expect to get this Carp.   Jarvis on the left, caught it on his first cast with a piece of sweet corn.   We also caught about 10 small roach each using small pellets.   The only problem is I think they are both now hooked good and proper.   Kind Regards Kevin Holme.     PS. hi debbie,

        during my visit to your amazing lake i failed to catch my 20 but managed a good 12 and a 13 so the day was still good.i was amazed by the overall sevice that you provide and the stunning location you have, all the guys i had a pleasure to talk to were more than helpful and extremely nice. with the limited time i had available to fish on the day of my visit i think the lake fished well. i'm not somebody who gives up on something so when a friend ask where would be good to do a 24 hour trip there was only one answer.

  so we will be coming for a return visit on the 12th 13th of september. i hope theres nothing your end to stop this happening as regards to availability or something.

you guys should be really proud of what have achieved in createing a truely amazing place.
