I have just returned from a day on your middle lake,I decided to leave the carp rods at home and have a few hours float fishing. I had 31 Bream (yes sad but I kept count) the largest just under 7.5 Lbs the rest averaged about 3 Lbs.add to that 6 decant Roach and a couple of bonus carp a total of about 100Lbs,not bad as I had to leave at 3!!    The fishery was immaculate the facilities spotless and the staff friendly.I have fished there before but not often something I will change from now on. Keep up the good work Keith Tucker PS it was peg

Hi,

Both myself and Paul West have just completed (Thurs - Sat) 48 hours fishing within your complex, first of all we would both like to thankyou for accommodating us on your lake and couldnt fault the complex at all, the shop was well stocked and staff were polite and thoroughly enthusiastic about the lake and the fish. We had a good 48 hours and managed to catch 78lb 5oz between us. I caught a 12, 14 and 23lb 6 oz Mirror carp and Paul caught a 14.3 and 14.6 common and mirror. 4 of the 5 fish come on the spicy tuna and sweet chilli pop ups and the other coming from the spicy shrimp and prawn pop up. (all photo's attached) We believe that they maybe a netting happening throughout February and if you would like any help with this or anything else around the lake then we would more than happily come down to assist with anything. Once again we would liek to thankyou and your staff for accommodating us, and hopefully will be seeing you soon whether its to fish or help you in anyway.

Daryl Hansford and Paul West.

Hi Pete,

Would just like to say how impressed we are with regards to the fishing conditions at Broadlands.

Heath and myself have found a new home for fishing, apart from where we used to fish in South Africa. Thanks to Master Cameron , we were given a V.I.P. tour guide to the lake and its surrounding rivers. We were really impressed!

I have attached photos as per your request on your website.

If there is  any help needed around the lake , please call Heath or myself, as we will not hesitate to visit your premises again and assist when available to.

Happy fishing  !!

Regards

Claude

Hi

Thanks for a great few days fishing,it was the first time my mates and I fished Broadlands, and we were all very impressed with the water.
aswell as landing a 27lb commom for Keith in the swim next to me, I also got to see anouther three mid twenties aswell. Including my new pb
a 26.5lb mirror.
Both Keith and my fish were caught on his bait, and using the exact same rig.The bait was the bait that keith made hiself and looks like mini tic-tacs,
they were very bright in colour and perfectly weighted on the rig that we both used (total fishing rig /slow sinking pop-up).

Anyway thanks again

Peter,
Firstly I would like to give a big thank you on behalf of all of us for allowing us to hold our annual fishing
match on Broadlands main lake. Unfortunately the weather held the fishing back along with the fish deciding to spawn but
hey that's fishing for you.
We did manage to raise £1'500 for the Samaritans which what the match was all about along with the social side. I do
hope we were on our best behaviour for you & that you didn't get any complaints from anyone. I did have a walk around
afterwards to check for litter which I'm pleased to say there was none (Please advise if this was not the case).

Hello, there.  I fish the lake from time to time and just wanted to let you know how great the place is.  Can't stop raving about the place and always trying to sort my weekends so I can get down there.  I was just wondering how to get involved in matches down there?  Primarily if you've got any carp pairs matches going on.

Look forward to hearing from you.  All the best, Andy

Hi Pete,  and Dan,

Firstly i would like to congratulate you all on what you have done to the lake you can now see the lake returning to its former beautifull and well maintained glorious state, a testiment to the hard work of you all.Secondly Pete i would like to thank you for allowing me to join your syndicate and will be counting down the days untill april comes around but will be sure to keep visiting the lake until that time.My friends visited you a couple of weeks ago and commented how well the lake was cared for and all agreed that this lake is surely set to be one of the best carp fisheries in the south and will be sure to visit again in the near future and they are from norfolk!!!!.I have inclosed the picture of the 21 7 grassie that i caught on th 8-9-2007 from peg 33 but you must of got the names mixed up, sorry for the delay in the arrival of the pictures but have had problems with my pc.

Hi Broadlands.

Thanks for a great day,

Its the first time the boys, (Jarvis and Jordan) have been fishing properly, and as we were only going for the small ones we did not expect to get this Carp.

Jarvis on the left, caught it on his first cast with a piece of sweet corn.

We also caught about 10 small roach each using small pellets.

The only problem is I think they are both now hooked good and proper.

Kind Regards Kevin Holme.

PS. If by any chance this does get in the echo please let me know via this email address.

thanks for everything you cockney nut job.. legend of a bloke. when it comes to tips on swims bait tackle well everything really super friendly and always ready to help, you dont get that at many waters.
although we didn't have the best catch results for doing 8 nights we still enjoyed every minute the fish that were caught were all low doubles in tip top condition and they all looked promising for gaining heavy weight over the next few years.

overall..good fish, nice guys. handy tackle and bait shop clean toilets and showers with toilet roll wow that i have not seen before and beautifully maintained lake.. what can i say 10 of 10

all the best   ollie and georgina kilby.... southampton

hi debbie,

during my visit to your amazing lake i failed to catch my 20 but managed a good 12 and a 13 so the day was still good.i was amazed by the overall sevice that you provide and the stunning location you have, all the guys i had a pleasure to talk to were more than helpful and extremely nice. with the limited time i had available to fish on the day of my visit i think the lake fished well. i'm not somebody who gives up on something so when a friend ask where would be good to do a 24 hour trip there was only one answer.

so we will be coming for a return visit on the 12th 13th of september. i hope theres nothing your end to stop this happening as regards to availability or something.

you guys should be really proud of what have achieved in createing a truely amazing place.

                  hope to see you soon,

                                                 chris trigg  (south wales)

Dear Peter / Debbie,

My dad ( Kevin Read ) asked me to email you details of his days fishing last saturday (21st).....

He fished the smaller lake (not sure what you refer to it as,

Anyway, I think he said he spoke to you about his day.....

He had 37 carp that he counted all between 5 and 8.5 lb (and apparently a few more when he stopped counting mid way through.....) In addition, not that they count but he said he also hooked a few apparently larger ones, but by all accounts his light line wasn't up to stopping them from taring off - good to know they are about though....He was using a ledger and a float rod but it seems the bigger carp opted for the float rod!

In amoungst the carp he was also catching roach/rudd and perch

Hope that gives you a good idea.  I've attached a few photos as well....

Regards

Daniel Read
